ELDO / Nord-Aviation / LRBA

To test the new Coralie second stage for the ELDO Europa rocket, the Cora test vehicle was launched 3 times with dummy Astris upper stage. Only one launch was succesful. Flights with an active Astris upper stage were cancelled.

The Coralie stage was built by Nord Aviation, with four Vexin engines by LRBA, and the Astris rocket engine and stage were developed by ERNO and MBB with the engine built by Snecma. The fairing was built by Aeritalia.
