EADS & Airbus

The Airbus Defence and Space division, formerly EADS Astrium, formerly Aérospatiale, DASA, CASA and MBB-ERNO, has been the prime contractor for the Ariane 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 rockets. Through the 2015 formed ArianeGroup joint venture it continued production on Ariane 5 and wil develop and produce the Ariane 6 rocket.

Aestus

From 1988 to 1995 the Airbus Ottobrunn Space Propulsion Centre developed the Aestus NTO-MMH liquid rocket engine, which was built by Astrium and flew on the Ariane 5 EPS second stage.

Probes & Satellites

EADS Astrium / Airbus Defence and Space developed or built Euclid, LISA Pathfinder, Gaia, Solar Orbiter, ExoMars rover, BepiColombo, JUICE, Venus and Mars Express, Rosetta, Hopper (EADS Phoenix) and various other earth observation and telecom satellites.

ISS & Artemis

Airbus built the Columbus ISS laboratory module with Thales Alenia Space, the Automated Transfer Vehicle (ATV) and the Artemis Program's European service module (ESM).
