PBAN Solid Rocket Booster

Developed by the United Aircraft Corporation (UAC), the UA-1205 solid rocket side boosters first flew on the Titan 3C in 1965. The lengthened UA1206 flew in 1971 on the Titan 3D, followed by the UA-1207 on the Titan 4A.

For Titan 4B the boosters were switched to Hercules SRMU's because of concernes regarding similar technologies on the Shuttle SRM's causing the Challenger disaster.
